<p>To start a new form, first go to the main menu (9 squares next to the logo), Forms section, then "New Form". You will then see a dropdown of all the different types of form that have been setup by an admin.</p>

<p>If this is a stand alone form, click "start new" to start collecting data.</p>
<h2 id="if-the-form-is-connected-to-an-asset">If The Form Is Connected To An Asset</h2>
<p>If the Physical Things module is enabled, and the form you've select is connected to a type of physical thing, you'll see an option to input one or multiple unique identifiers. Bare in mind that first the assets needs to be added on the system, <a href="/learn/physical-things/creating-a-new-asset">follow this guide on how to do this</a>.</p>
<p>The physical thing needs to be of the same type as shown to the left of the input. This ensures that the wrong type of form isn't filled in for a given asset. An error message will be shown if this is done wrong.</p>
<p>Once you've input the asset unique identifier(s), click "start new" to start collecting data.</p>
