Searching For An Asset On Mashoom

To find an asset you need to be on the main Menu (use the 9 dots from wherever you are currently). Look at the section headed "Physical Things" and you will see a sub-header titled "View All".

Press on that and you will be taken to this screen:

Type in your asset's unique identifier (often a serial number) to the right of the search icon and you will see your asset listed below and any other possible assets which have a serial number that starts with your search term.

From this point you can examine the data associated with that asset (in the grey section under defined sections) and, in the middle of the page, all forms currently under completion and/or completed.

Advanced Search

You can also search for assets via advanced search, creating a search from any number of the fields.

Select "Open filter search", then select the field you want to search by from the dropdown next to "New". Once you've selected a field, you'll see options to input a value, and select how that value is searched for.

You can add a new filter by using the dropdown next to "New" again. You can keep adding search criterial, by default they will all need to be satisfied for the asset to be included in the list.

You can also amend the query, for instance changing the "AND" to "OR", so that assets satisfying either condition will be shown. Mashoom also supports brackets, for instance "(1 AND 2) OR 3".
