Adding Or Amending Asset Details Or Photos

To find the asset you want to update or add a detail, you need to be on the Main Menu (use the 9 dots from wherever you are currently on the system). Select the sub-header "View all" under the "Physical Things" section.

Type in your asset's serial number to the right of the search icon and you will see your asset listed below and any other assets which have a similar serial number.

At this point you can examine all data currently associated with that asset. This information is contained in the grey section on the left under the defined sections. If the "Forms" module is enabled then you will also see in the middle of the page any forms under completion or completed for this asset.

You can now expand any of the headed sections in the grey area, view the current information captured in that section and, if necessary, update the content.

Files and photos can be uploaded via this interface, if these field types have been setup by an admin user. The value of calculated fields can also be seen, but their values can't be edited.

After making your change, move down to the bottom of this page and press "Save changes". Note that the save changes button will only appear once changes have been made.
