Viewing And Searching Contacts
There are three different ways of viewing your Contacts
Contents
When you want to view or search for a contact you have options as to the view you see of them. From the main menu (9 squares next to the logo at the top of the screen), select the sub-heading "View Contacts" in the "Contact" section and you will be presented with "Standard" view in Mashoom.
Standard View

If you select a a name from your list on the left, you will then see more detail on that contact. You can also select "Advanced search" to filter using a combination of any fields. These searches can also be saved for later.

However Mashoom has other views to inform and help the user understand what action is required for that contact, in the most helpful way.
Table View
Going back to the Contact list on the left, you will see near the top, in the middle of your screen, the other view options - 'Table' and 'Kanban'

"Table" view is particularly helpful for users who are more comfortable with an 'Excel look' to their data on screen. Click the column headings to filter search results. Clicking on the cells also allows you to change their values.

Kanban View
Our third way of viewing contacts is "Kanban", splitting contacts up into boards that you can move the contact around on.
To use the Kanban view, you first need to setup a custom option field. Once this is setup, you will be able to select the option field in the box in the top left, each option will then form a kanban board. This option field is still accessible from elsewhere on Mashoom, and changes to it elsewhere will reflect on the board.

This view can be used in a number of ways to enhance your analysis of your contacts. For example, in collaboration with an added field using the options formatting, this is a way of seeing the progress of a contact in your sales/quoting phases.
